Kyle Slate
Director of Player Development
Bio
Kyle Slate brings over 15 years of coaching experience and a strong professional playing background to his role developing high-level baseball talent. A former Philadelphia Phillies prospect, Slate was selected in the 37th round of the 2007 MLB Draft and spent several seasons in the Phillies’ minor league system, including time with the Gulf Coast League affiliate.
Originally from Long Branch, New Jersey, Slate starred at Christian Brothers Academy, where he earned First Team All-State and First Team All-Shore Conference honors and set school records in ERA and strikeouts during his standout prep career.
As Director of Player Development, Coach Slate has spent the past decade plus training and mentoring athletes across New Jersey. He has helped develop more than 50 Division I, II, and III college players and multiple professional players, guiding athletes in improving their skills, achieving personal goals, and competing at the next level.
Slate’s experience as both a professional pitcher and long-time instructor gives him a unique perspective on the development process, emphasizing fundamentals, mechanics, and a competitive mindset.
Coach Slate resides in Eatontown, NJ with his wife Carly, and 2 kids Brayden and Rylee
